The Wedding Supplier Checklist

Congratulations your getting married!
This will be one of the most important, special and magical days of your life. You will be left with beautiful memories that you will never forget and that you will never want to forget.

We don't actually realise all the planning that is involved to create your perfect wedding, until we start.
Planning a wedding can be a stressful time, it can also be exciting and fun, especially if you organise everything the right way.

Booking your wedding suppliers at the right time will ensure that you have no last minute panics and you will get the suppliers that you really want.
Yes you can plan a wedding in 12 months, 6 months and even 3 months but believe me it will be stressful.
I have had many brides-to-be ask if I would put together a wedding supplier checklist to help them during their planning. There are so many different suppliers that will help you to create your wedding and it can be confusing knowing when to book each one.
Fairytale Wedding Planning in the UK wants your wedding planning to run as smooth as possible. We believe the key to making that happen is to book your suppliers at the right time, without them, there is no wedding! The earlier you book your suppliers, the less stress, more fun and free time you will have.
Please feel free to download the checklist  located at the bottom of this post. You can tick each supplier off the list during your planning. You don't want to forget any important suppliers that you will need to help create your special day, believe me it does and can happen!
Be sure to purchase a wedding diary to keep all of your suppliers contact numbers and important dates for meetings etc.
All the suppliers that have been listed can and some should be booked at least 12 months prior to your wedding date, leaving you plenty of time to arrange.

Fairytale Wedding Planning in the UK have some fantastic, extremely talented and highly recommended wedding suppliers. Please do take a look by clicking on your chosen supplier located on the right side column of the page.

This is the time you to book your venue. Your venue is at the top of your list. Yes you can leave it later but I would advise you to book it no later than 12 months before your wedding, especially if you have your heart set on a certain venue. I have heard couples say that they wished they had booked earlier as the date they really wanted had already been booked, or even the venue was completely fully booked for the whole year and they had to choose a different venue or book for the following year. This can be very disappointing.

If you would like help with planning your wedding then now is also the perfect time to hire your wedding planner.

Italy Destination Wedding

For some couples their dream of a destination  wedding never becomes reality. The reason is that some couples just don't know where to start, they think it would be too difficult to plan and so get themselves into a panic and decide that staying closer to home is the easier option. Planning a wedding can be stressful and there's no doubt that planning a destination wedding comes with its own set of challenges. The truth is a destination wedding is not that much different to planning your UK wedding and once you are informed with all the right information you need then the planning can be very straight forward.

There could be many reasons why you have always dreamt of a destination wedding. You and your partner may have a love of travelling, it could be one of the beautiful destinations that you have travelled to in the past, one of the very first destinations that you had travelled to together as a couple, where you got engaged, or maybe you just want to escape to have a small intimate wedding with just immediate family and friends.

The thought of planning a destination wedding can be very daunting, making you feel confused and the not knowing where to even begin can make you feel overwhelmed!.
If you are planning on a destination wedding then I would highly advise you to hire a wedding planner about 12- 18 months in advance. It is important to either hire a wedding planner that knows the location or specializes in destination weddings. There will be many questions that you will want to know and by hiring a wedding planner they will know everything that you need to know. They will also know which suppliers to use and will be able to contact them for you and arrange everything. Sometimes with having the language barrier this can be a blessing. That's the beauty of hiring a wedding planner, you tell them what you want and they turn your dreams into reality. Your wedding planner will be there for you every step of the way,  listening to how you vision your wedding day and making sure that everything runs according to plan. Their job is to plan your wedding day exactly how you want, your way.

Based in Yorkshire, Rosa Aqua Weddings help couples in the UK and worldwide, organise the wedding of their dreams. They plan, design and style bespoke weddings and events in the UK and Italy.

Rosa Aqua Weddings have kindly shared a beautiful, fairytale wedding in Italy that they had the pleasure of  planning.

Aurela and Andrew married on 6th September 2018 in Italy at the stunning and luxurious 19th century villa with breathtaking views of Lake Como. It really was the perfect setting for a fairytale wedding. They wanted a small and intimate wedding in Italy.

There is something so special about Italy, to me it's such a romantic destination to have your wedding.
Just look at these magnificent views, I can not think of a better back drop for your photographs.

Lake Como is in Northern Italy's Lombardy region, an area well know for its dramatic scenery, set against the foothills of the Alps. It is such a beautiful and very picturesque location.

Aurela and Andrew had a very intimate and romantic celebration with close friends and family. The couple travelled all way from Canada and their guests from various countries. You can see why they choose this location, it's just magical!.

Aurela looked incredibly stunning in her ceremony dress, just like a fairytale princess.
Aurela had five bridesmaids. They looked amazing in their blush pink dresses. There colour theme was blush pink, white and gold.

I love this image of Aurela and Andrew standing in the grand doorway of the historic villa. At first you are wowed by the magnificent building and then you notice the backdrop with the most incredible views. It really is breath taking. So romantic!.

Look how pretty this image is. It looks like something you would see in the movies. The decor looks amazing, the lighting and the flowers. It's perfect!.

I think there is something so special about having a small intimate wedding with close family and friends. What better way than saying 'I do' in romantic Italy.
