Do I need a Toastmaster?
This is a question I get asked by many couples and my answer is always the same, "ABSOLUTELY YES!"
Hiring a Toastmaster will help you so much. I promise it will take away so much stress knowing that you have someone in charge of the smooth running of your day. It's like having your very own personal PA.
The role of a Toastmaster is invaluable, whether you are having a big or small wedding, budget or luxury wedding.
A Toastmaster plays an extremely important part of your day. Ensuring everyone is in the right place and at the right time. This also includes supporting all of your bridal party, suppliers and entertainment, introducing speakers at formal moments, such as the wedding speeches, gathering your guests for group photographs to support your photographer, liasing with your suppliers to ensure they are running on schedule, anouncing the cake cutting and the first dance are just some of thr duties that your toastmaster will do.
A Toastmaster will act calmly and professional with any situation that may arise. One couple recently told me "I didn’t even know that a certain situation had happened, our Toastmaster sorted out the problem, thank goodness we had him as we don't know what may of happened if he wasn't there!" This is something I hear alot from our couples.
You will have a meeting before your wedding where you can discuss your requirements with your Toastmaster. A Toastmasters job is never the same, as every couple has different requirements. You may find that you only want your Toastmaster to do certain duties on your special day, and that's absolutely fine. Most couples will have their Toastmaster attend the full day, this gives them peace of mind that if any problems do arise then their Toastmaster can deal with the situation.
Couples think that hiring a Toastmaster will be too expensive. Well, I have good news for you! Hiring a Toastmaster is not as expensive as you think. The cost of hiring a Toastmaster in the UK is between £350 -£700.

I will ensure your special day runs as smooth as possible, starting with greeting your wedding guests & bridal party, making sure everyone is in the right place and at the right time, announce the wedding breakfast, arrival of the bride & groom, speeches, cutting of the cake, welcoming the evening guests and introduce the first dance. You can both enjoy every moment of your day knowing that I will deal with any problems that may occur.
Ross first became aware of "Toastmasters" from a fairly young age. This was largely due to the fact that his grandad "Bernie" Sullivan, who was a much loved and respected master of Ceremonies for over 40 years.
From a young age Ross got to meet many interesting people attending events through the organisation that his grandad was part of. It was then that the seed was planted that one day he too would like to be a Toastmaster just like his grandad.
Outside of work Ross is a personal trainer. He loves sports, especially football, squash and golf. He also has a passion for travel and has visited many countries around the world.
Ross is a big "Foodie" and is often out with his wife trying out different restaurants!
